Information overload and keeping up.

Some good insights to combat information anxiety in "The myth of keeping up."  Of note, the recommendation to find a person to help you filter the information overload:  a mentat as Frank Herbert and Richard Hunter (World without Secrets) might tell you.

And a very insightful comment: "we tend to think our users have all the time in the world to figure it all out (RTFM)."  Just because you sent an email with the directions and a link to the Google map doesn't mean anyone will show up.  Trust me.
